The handover

What you receive

• A patch for one agreed defect in one workflow and one repository.
• A regression check in your existing test or CI path, using up to 20 approved cases, including cases that should still pass.
• A before-and-after record, a handover note and a walkthrough of the change.

The starting point

What we need from you

• A reproducible failure, repository access and a working development environment.
• Buyer-approved synthetic or fully redacted examples, plus the expected result.
• One person who can agree the scope and accept the result.

The decision

How acceptance works

Before work starts, we agree which cases must fail before the patch and pass afterwards, which valid cases must keep passing, and who signs off. The delivery budget is a qualification limit; it does not replace the agreed acceptance criteria.

The boundary

What’s outside the scope

• One existing workflow, repository and defect. No new integrations, infrastructure migration or production deployment.
• The pre-contract review is capped at 45 minutes. The repair must be feasible within a 12-hour delivery budget before it is accepted.
• If the failure cannot be reproduced or bounded, a separately scoped investigation may be proposed. Its deliverable is findings and a repair recommendation; a root cause is not guaranteed.

Commercial details

Payment & timing

$1,000 after scope is signed; $1,000 on acceptance. An invoice is issued for this engagement. The three-business-day window starts once access, examples, acceptance criteria and a start date are agreed.

Applicable taxes, the contracting supplier and payment details are confirmed in the written proposal before payment. Third-party services or usage costs are identified separately.

After delivery

Support with a clear end

Seven calendar days of support for defects introduced by the patch, with two engineering hours reserved. New requirements are scoped separately; unresolved acceptance obligations are handled under the signed agreement.
